Privacy Policy
How Pup Playbook handles the small amount of information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pup Playbook (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you visit pupplaybook.com, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Email sign-ups. When you request the New-Puppy Checklist or our updates, we collect the name and email you submit. These are processed through our form provider (Web3Forms) and the email tool we use to send you the resource.
- Contact messages. If you message us, we receive the details you provide so we can reply.
- Usage data. We run our own privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that records aggregate visits (page viewed, approximate region, device type, and the referring site). It does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally.
Cookies & tracking
Our own analytics does not set cookies. Cookies on this site come from third parties you interact with — for example, when you click an affiliate link, the retailer (such as Amazon) may set a cookie to credit a qualifying purchase. If and when we display ads through an advertising partner, that partner may set cookies to serve and measure ads; we will update this policy and, where required, present a consent banner before any such ads run. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising
This site may earn revenue from affiliate links and, in the future, from display advertising. Advertising partners we work with may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before non-essential ad tracking is enabled.
How we use your information
To send the resources you ask for, reply to your messages, understand which guides are useful, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email with third parties except the service providers that help us deliver it.
Your rights (GDPR & UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Our legal basis is your consent (for email sign-ups) and our legitimate interest in running the site. To exercise any right, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Your rights (California / CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information. You may exercise these rights, without discrimination, by contacting us.
Data retention & security
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide these resources or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, or contact us to request that we delete your information.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
